My previous promises of pictures have oft been unfulfilled. Today, however, I bring you some of those long-awaited vistas.
You may recall my previous post about a nasty storm which knocked out power, forcing me to post from a generator-driven PC. The photographs were taken from that storm.

The storm reaches full fury as high winds bend our neighbor's flagpole. Post storm, it remained bent.
After a successful foray for food, we encountered the destruction which had cut our power lines. This is located just outside of my neighborhood.
Finally, the storm is gone and only a beautiful sunset remained in its memory.
On a totally unrelated note, one of our Golfs has suffered a broken mount point. The alternator cannot maintain tension on its belt as one of the alternator's mount points on the engine has snapped. We shall seek welding prowess to restore its funtionality.
