Repainting

The current format of this site annoys me. I am distressed by the wild divergence in the ways it appears on different monitor settings. I am also not entirely sure that I like displaying my text as gray on gray. I definitely need to create a couple of good graphics as well. In short, this page is still under construction in every respect. Don't get complacent. Changes may take some time, though; while the stylesheet arrangement in Movable Type is convenient for quick changes, it complicates any effort to discard the default formatting altogether.
