At least I don't drawl

Disappointing. And people say I don't sound like a Texan. Hmph. Internet quizzes don't lie.

71% (Dixie). That is a pretty strong Southern score!

So I'm as Southern as ... a 71% Southerner. I shall console myself in the knowledge that England also has a southern area.

Noticed by Katy.

49% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category. Apparently, i've been corrupted by southerners far too much. Darn you all!

Blast and botheration - 64% Dixie. I object! On almost every question, I was identified as having an accent just west of the Great Lakes; all this test identified was that I don't speak like someone from the North-east. That hardly places me into the Dixie category. Grrr. The only corruption of my grammar that I've noted is that I use "Y'all" from time to time - it's a handy expression. 'Course, I also use yousa and wesa from Jar-Jar Binx, as well. :->

*beats Leatherwood . . . like, the hitting kind*

*realizes that isn't enough punishment for someone who talks like . . . THAT, and spells "ks" with an "x"*

*runs off to find someone who knows of better punishments*

This is a silly quiz, either way I took it I was always pretty much half Southern. Which means I'm also half northern and both sides can make fun of the way I talk. Grrr.

Clearly I am a adaptable Yankee. (44%)

50% Yankee. So, presumably also 50% Dixie.
Middle-of-the-Road. Somehow, it seems to fit.

Of course, I'm not surprised. Most of the questions gave me responses like "Common in all areas of the United States." Wow, that's helpful . . .

The majority of my responses said common in most of the United states, or somewhere in the north, but I still managed to come up 76% dixie. Of Course I'm just a Georgia Peach
