So we had ourselves a conference
I spent the day -- from 8 in the morning to 10 at night -- at the C. S. Lewis and the Inklings Conference on campus. Officially I was supposed to be a volunteer, but I really did not have to do much except tell attendees where they could find the nearest restrooms. I heard some good presentations, some mediocre presentations, and very few bad presentations (I picked my sessions well). I enjoyed myself very much, but was frustrated once again by the fact that I am not an auditory learner at all. Frankly, I catch about one spoken word in three. I hope to read through the papers when they come out on CD in a few weeks, if only to find out what I heard today.

Wow... I'm VERY auditory, so that's surprising to me. I never think of others not catching the spoken word. Weird... :D
