Motion to end debate

Apparently the Worker's Paradise can't take a little heat:

Witnesses said a Cuban delegate punched Mr. Calzon, knocking him unconscious. UN guards reportedly protected him from further assault by additional members of the Cuban delegation. The attack occurred shortly after the Commission passed a resolution critical of Cuba's human rights record.
Freedom House explains why the Cuban delegation decided to go unilateral on a democracy activist at the UN Commission on Human Rights. By a vote of 22-21 (ten abstaining), the council had dared to criticize a couple of the Dear Hirsute Leader's policies. I wonder what the gentlemen from Cuba would have done if the Commission had actually demanded the dissidents' release.
