Research paper: due at 6 a.m.

Oddly enough, I think this might have been my first real all-nighter of the semester. Even on my legendary nights of much schoolwork, I almost always get at least an hour or two of sleep before class in the morning. (Yes, I know; it's easier not to get any sleep at all than to have a couple of hours. But these days my body refuses.)

Fortunately, Wheeler and I were able to collaborate. Since we were working on the same assignment for Social Background of the New Testament, we met at 4 a.m. in the lounge on my floor to swap papers for a quick editing job. Then we each rushed through our final changes and synchronized our electronic submissions. Dr. Hood will open her inbox to find two different papers sent within about thirty seconds of 5:56 a.m.
