I still hate Texas drivers
Two random observations, because I am running late on my homework tonight.
First, the Internet does not know how to spell the word teetotaler. I keep getting Googled for "teatotaler." Let me clear the air once and for all time. I was making a pun. Please stop ringing my doorbell. That's not how the word is spelled. (In case you were wondering, the magnificent people at the American Heritage Dictionary believe that the "tee" was originally an enunciation of the first letter in "total [abstinence]"; think of the same method of emphasis in "D-Day.")
Second, my family's dog is very strange. He is quite adult now, but he still has no difficulty sustaining eye contact with humans. Even when people make him nervous by glaring at him, he stares back as if he cannot stop. I have not found any limit to his endurance. If he weren't such a nervous little dog, I might find this creepy. As it is, I just hope someday to find some young lady who doesn't mind that much silent eye contact with me.
I finally finished watching Dr. Zhivago this afternoon. I promise to post my review tomorrow or Saturday. Really. I've already started on it. It's sitting right over there in a Notepad file.
