Can we just agree that all the electoral-vote predictions floating around online are ridiculous at this point? Too many states are too close to call. As in 2000, when most polls were off by about 5 percent, everything now depends on the infantry -- the local volunteers running from door to door to remind voters to turn out on Tuesday.
